Resumo

The growth of the construction industry has generated a large volume of Construction and Demolition Waste - RCD, both in new construction, as well as in renovations and extensions. These residues need to be stored, transported and destined to the correct locations, as determined by CONAMA Resolution nº. 307 of 2002. This work has as general objective to verify how the RCD management is done at the company Cidade Limpa, in Brusque - SC. The research has as qualitative-quantitative approach, exploratory and descriptive method, and type of documentary and case study research. It has been found that the company, in addition to construction waste, also carries other types of waste, such as those from garden cleaners. It was verified that each residue collected receives a specific destination, always in accordance with the guidelines established by CONAMA Resolution nº. 307. With the study of the evolution of the number of buckets between the years 2010 and 2017, it was verified that they remained a pattern, having only two years of oscillation. It is believed that the reason for such facts is due to the economic scenario in which Brazil was going through these periods. The estimated average cost for a vehicle to operate was R $ 17,832.11 per month, which may vary. Some of the variables that impact on the cost of the service analyzed change constantly, both by the influence of the operator, the equipment, or by external agents such as the government.
